FAQ

How does the Tapmaster system work?

Tapmaster uses a water-powered valve system to control the flow of water to the faucet. When that activator is triggered, it opens the valve to allow water flow. There are no batteries or sensors.

What are the benefits of using Tapmaster's activators?

Key benefits are improved hygiene and cleanliness since you don't need to touch the faucet, water conservation from precise control, and accessibility.

What kind of maintenace is required for a touchless faucet?

Very little maintenance is needed since there are no batteries or sensors. Occasionally the valves may need to be cleaned or replaced if water flow becomes slow. However, our activators are operated at least 12 years without any maintenance.

Can I still use my faucet normally with Tapmaster installed?

Yes, you can lock out the Tapmaster system if you want to use the faucet manually. Latching valve assemblies allow switching between manual and hands-free modes.
